【摘要】:ThePurposeofthisstandard(hereafterreferredtoascode)istoprovideminimumrequirementsfortheenergy-efficientdesignofbuildingsexceptlow-riseresidentialbuildings.Thiscodeprovides:(a)minimumenergy-efficientequirementsforthedesignandconstructionof;Newbuildingsandtheirsystems,Newportionsofbuildingsandthiersystems,andNewsystemsandequipmentinexistingbuildings.(b)criteriafordeterminingcompliancewiththeserequirements.Theprovisionsofthiscodeapplyto:(a)theenvelopeofbuildingsprovidedthattheenclosedspacesare:heatedbyaheatingsystemwhoseoutputcapacityisgreaterthanorequalto3.4Btu//hft-2(10W/m-2),orcooledbyacoolingsystemwhosesensibleoutputcapacityisgreaterthanorequalto5Btu/hft-2(15W/m-2);(b)thefollowingsystemsandequipmentusedinconjunctionwithbuildings:heating,ventilating,andairconditioning,servicewaterheating,electricpowerdistributionandmeteringprovisions,electricmotorsandbeltdrives,andlighting.Theprovisionsofthiscodedonotapplyto:(a)single-familyhouses,multi-familystructuresofthreestoriesorfewerabovegrade,manufacturedhouses(mobilehomes),andmanufacturedhouses(modular),(b)buildingsthatdonotuseeitherelectricityorfossilfuel,or(c)equipmentandportionsofbuildingsystemsthatuseenergyprimarilytoprovideforindustrialmanufacturingorcommercialprocesses.Wherespecificallynotedinthiscode,certainbuildingsorelementsofbuildingsshallbeexempt.Thiscodeshallnotbeusedtocircumventanysafety,healthorenvironmentalrequirements.ThePowerISCrepresentsareductionofscopeforSection8,Power.Droppedfromthesectionwererequirementsforelectricalmetering,harmoniclosses,andtransformers.Section8nowconsistsofrequirementsforallowablevoltagedroponfeedercircuitsandrequirementsfordrawingsandmanualofthecompletedelectricalsystem.Note:IndependentSubstantiveChangesdenotelimitedchangestothepreviouspublicreviewdraft.
