【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresforsamplingandmeasuringtheunstretchedstaplelength,andvariabilityinlength,ofgreaseorpulledwoolstaples.Thetestmethodisalsoapplicabletomohairandotheranimalfibersinstapleform.Theprocedureisnotrecommendedforindividualfibersorgroupsofstraightenedfibers.Note1--ThedeterminationoffiberlengthinwooltopiscoveredinTestMethodD519,thedeterminationoffiberlengthofwooliscoveredinTestMethodD1575.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
